Red Cherry Shrimps

Red Cherry Shrimps are one of the most popular ornamental fresh water shrimps.  They are very fun to watch and easy to care because they can live in almost any freshwater aquarium, which makes them an excellent choice for beginner or young aquarists. 
 
Cherry shrimps are great additions to any planted tank or community tanks. 
These colourful shrimps are also good for managing waste and algae naturally in your aquariums. 
 
Like all dwarf shrimp, they are very active and breed quickly.  The adult Cherry Shrimps can reach to about 1 - 1.5 inches in size. 
 
The Red Cherry Shrimp diet consists of algae, biofilm, decaying plants, micro worms, grindal worms and left over fish food.  Many are available in our or you can find it at your local fish store. 
 
Lower intensity lighting and dark substrate also helps them achieve the deepest and darkest reds.
 
Our Red Cherry Shrimps are shipped, via express post ranging in sizes from 0.5 cm to 1.5 cm to ensure the highest survival rates.
